Fairway Ranch is located at the southwest intersection of Byron Nelson Parkway and Litsey Road in Roanoke, Texas, in Denton County. Three main highways intersect Roanoke - S.H. 114, S.H. 377 and S.H. 170 - and I-35W is just three miles west of the city. The neighborhood is located adjacent to the Alliance Business Park, and is 23 miles north of downtown Fort Worth, 30 miles west of Dallas, only 5 miles from Alliance Airport, and 15 miles from DFW International Airport.
Just a short distance east along S.H. 114 - the "executive highway" - are the Town of Westlake and the City of Southlake, two of the nation's most affluent neighborhoods according to Forbes. Southlake Town Square has grown to become a shopping Mecca for the DFW Metroplex, and is regionally known for its high-end boutiques and fine dining.
Spring 2014 saw the installation of our beloved cow sculptures. These lovely cows can be found near the Fairway Ranch Amenity Center, and are just one of the many enhancement features planned for the community common areas.
On January 27, 2016, the crew from Solid Signs added to the herd they started in 2014.

North Texas is a term commonly used to describe the northern part of the state of Texas, primarily centering on the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex (DFW). It is the largest metropolitan area in Texas and the largest inland metropolitan area in the US lacking access to the sea. We enjoy mild winters, fair skies, and long summers. Dallas is the biggest city in North Texas and the center of commerce for the area. In recent years the city has been among the first in the nation to have the largest year-over-year increase in employment and is home to the nation’s third largest concentration of Fortune-500 companies. Fort Worth, the second largest city in the DFW complex, is famous for its traditional architecture and its efforts towards the preservation of western heritage. Fort Worth is home to the Kimbell Art Museum, a museum that is widely regarded as having the best collections in Texas. Steeped in history with connections to the Chisolm Trail and cattle drives, Fort Worth is a unique city with a lot to offer its residents.
Roanoke has been one of the top ten fastest growing communities in the DFW Metroplex for three straight years. Offering low taxes, and one of the lowest crime rates in the Metroplex, Roanoke is the ideal choice for residents and commerce. Roanoke’s historic downtown has been transformed with a $10 million investment, and is a thriving shopping, dining and entertainment destination. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, Roanoke is home to several recorded Historic Texas Landmarks, and the Visitor Center and Museum in the former Silver Spur Saloon, c. 1886, shares the story of Roanoke’s history and provides information about the area’s events and activities.
